Distilled in 1949 to Alexander's exacting standards, this expression was bottled in 2022 at the pinnacle of its maturation and released in 2024 to celebrate The Macallan's 200th anniversary and Alexander's enduring influence.

This exceptionally rare 73-year-old single malt is housed in a bespoke Lalique crystal decanter, concealed within an 800-page tome adorned with illustrations by renowned artist Andrew Davidson. Bottled at an impressive 44.8% ABV, with only 344 bottles available worldwide. Aromas of rich forest fruits, aromatic wood smoke, antique oak, and mixed spice greet the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla bean and subtle herbs. On the palate, flavours of black cherries, plum jam, dark chocolate orange, and ginger sponge emerge, with hints of cloves, wood smoke, and loose tea leaves leading to a long, sweet, and smoky finish.
