Macallan Concept No.1
A Whisky that dares to be different, Macallan Concept No.1 cites its inspiration as those visionaries who bless us with surrealist art and innovative ideas. This really shows in both the labelling and maturation process, the citrusy malt spending equal amounts of time in both former sherry and bourbon casks.
Macallan Concept No.2
This is the second instalment in Macallan’s ‘concept’ series, originally envisaged for the Travel Retail market. The concept this time is music – with Steven Bremner, the man responsible, being a keen house DJ as well as a master whisky maker. Sherry-seasoned American oak imparts notes of vanilla, citrus and toffee.
Macallan Diamond Jubilee - Bottled 2012
A highly desirable, limited-edition release from Macallan, rolled out to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Drawn from its cask on the 8th of February, by no coincidence the date of Her Majesty’s accession, the sherry cask-matured expression is an instant classic.
Macallan Easter Elchies Black - 2018 Release
A must-have for any whisky collector, Macallan Easter Elchies Black - 2018 Release is a light smoky dram and forms part of the Easter Elchies collection, named after the rich history of the house on the Macallan grounds. Just under 2000 bottles of this fie limited edition was released, bottled at 49.2% ABV with no colouring. The nose is fresh and citrus soaked with some subtle peat smoke, leading to the palate with oodles more fruit and a sweet peaty twang. The finish is medium and slightly dry with more fruit and peat smoke.
Macallan Easter Elchies Black - 2019 Release
Dark and elegant, this 2019 release is everything we have come to expect of the eternally effervescent Macallan. Easter Elchies Black is a beautiful 49.7% expression, hints of dusky smoke combining with a rich, creamy mouthfeel and notes of toffee and vanilla to make for an unforgettable dram
Macallan Edition No. 1
Bottled at 48%, Macallan Edition No. 1 is a limited edition single malt created by the eponymous distillery’s manager Bob Dalgarno. Made from a mix of sherry and bourbon oak-matured whisky, the luxurious dram is equal parts sweet and spicy, with hints of coffee beans, cocoa and dried fruit. Nectarean in every regard.
Macallan Edition No. 2
With sherry puncheons providing a home for Macallan’s finest, it was only a matter of time until the sweetness of the sherry worked its magic. Notes of fruit and liquorice infuse the sublime Macallan Edition No. 2.
Macallan Estate Reserve - 1824 Collection
The Macallan Estate Reserve is a special-edition Speyside Scotch released for the travel retail market. The smooth, complex dram has a wonderfully long finish with elements of oak wood and sweet citrus. Very pleasurable.
Macallan Genesis - 72 Year Old In Lalique Decanter
This Macallan Genesis 72 Year Old is the oldest single malt ever to be released. This was in honour of opening their new $200 million distillery. This luxurious, opulent and truly magnificent architectural masterpiece mirrors the roof in the new distillery, incorporating clean lines and natural curves.
Macallan Home Collection The Distillery
The Macallan Home Collection celebrates the traditions and community surrounding the famous distillery. It was originally sold at the Macallan Estate, and at selected airports. The box features watercolour art by Colin Rizza, a MacAllan employee.
Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release - Decade 1
This is the first of The Macallan’s special six limited-edition releases to mark the 60th anniversary of the cinematic James Bond. The artwork celebrates Sean Connery’s tenure as Bond, with sketches from Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice. The whisky itself, however, is the same across all six bottles.
