Aberfeldy 25 Year Old - 125th Anniversary Edition
Aberfeldy is celebrating a whopping 125 years since the distillery first started producing spirit, and as part of the celebrations they’ve released a special edition of 25 Year Old single malt. This whisky has been matured for over two decades in a combination of re-fill hogsheads and refill butts, before being finished for more than a year in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, which have added a spiced note to Aberfeldy’s rich and fruity character.

The Octave Premium range showcases premium scotch in ‘octave’ casks, one-eighth the size of a traditional butt. This Aberlour is limited to a very small run of fifty-eight – it spent thirty-one years maturing, and packs an intense burst of tropical fruit and ginger in the palate.

This surprisingly smooth cask-strength rye from Alberta Distillers in Calgary was launched in 2020 to draw attention to the lesser-known Canadian whiskey category. Made with 100% Canada-grown rye, this expression offers notes of caramel, vanilla and chocolate, balanced on the palate by flavoursome rye spice and black currants.
