Bottles have been handsomely presented in wooden tubes made with 50 layers, 48 made of wood, two of brass, to reflect how many years this whisky was matured.
Benromach 40 Year Old - 2022 Release
The 2022-release of Benromach 40 Year Old has been matured in sherry casks to create aromas of cinnamon, ginger, Seville orange, roasted hazelnut and stewed red berries that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of Morello cherries, baked apple, liquorice, dark chocolate, fruit cake and black pepper, with hints of dark berries and rich oak lingering in the finish.

A 30-year-old single-cask Blair Athol bottled in celebration of Douglas Laing's 75th anniversary. The bottle is presented in a luxury, diamond-shaped gift box, which also contains a booklet hand-signed by Fred and Cara Laing, as well as a cut crystal decanter and tumbler crafted by glass artisan Richard Brendon.
Tasting notes from Douglas Laing The nose reveals coffee, fresh autumnal fruit (with cinnamon) and home baked cake. The fructiferous Sherry heritage is apparent on the palate with its distinct warmly spiced, sugary sultana style. This thirty-one-year-old single malt scotch whisky was distilled at Bowmore Distillery back in 1988, and released as part of the ‘Timeless’ series, alongside an impressive display case and a little hourglass. Limited to just 3,000 bottles.
